    Was too vigorously typing my frustration that I forgot another important issue that I wanna blog about.

    HAPPY 99 DAYS TO US!!!!
    *kiss kiss*

    Yesterday was a happy day out! Went high tea @ Zhou's Kitchen -> Shopping -> Movie -> Home

    And time passed fast with BF around. Really happy to have his company. We finally have each other for movies we wanna watch, have stuff we wanna eat, have places we wanna go and things we wanna do.

    有你的存在,让我觉得每一天多是如此的美丽。。

    Dear Bloggy,

    There is really something I wanna blog about. I think I really have enough of ah-tiongs. They're practically flooding into Singapore by batches. Godamnit. I felt like I'm in Cheena everyday. The trains flooded with tiongs, the bus flooded with tiongs, shopping areas flooded with tiongs (as retail personnel), the restaurant flooded with tiongs (as waiteress) even in CINEMA also flooded with tiongs!! WTF!! Was at e theatre with BF just now for the Jack Neo's new movie and we're surrounded by tiongs LEFT and RIGHT! I told BF, I think sooner or later, Singapore will be left with 2 major group of people, nehs and tiongs. Goodness gracious ME!

    And BF said that Singapore are planning to have another 1 million of tiongs flooding into Singapore! OMG. Felt kinda nauseous suddenly. So maybe one day we'll have our country's "bosses" as tiongs also? *jokes*

    So who are the "elites" that they talking about??

    1) Tiongs that works at nightclub? Be it legally or illegally;
    2) Or retail person that can't even understand "Double-Decker Bed" when the customer is asking for it and walk off;
    3) Or some salesgirl who swiped NETs when I'm holding to a Visa card;
    4) Or waiteress that don't even know what's the ingredient in the menu cos they're all in English;
    5) Or some hookers standing on Geylang's street;
    6) Or those girls trying to hook up with people's husband or BF?

    Seriously, get a life man. What's the point of importing them in when the GDP they contribute might be just a tiny slice out of the pie?? No offence to the people who are really educated and do serious work. I ONLY respect such people.

    And the best part is, a lot of them are on student permit from private institutions. And guess what course they're talking? English courses! Haha. As if there're no English course in Cheena! Either the institutions failed to overlook the motive behind the stupid English courses or they simply don't care, cos they earn fat fat profits from it.

    A real story to share, something I read from the papers. One day, there's a lady called in to the newspaper to lodge a complain. With regards to her husband having a mistress outside. She sent PI to do investigation and she found out that the mistress is actually a tiong, and almost every afternoon, her husband will drive to the mistress's school during lunchbreak to have a quickie somewhere else. Apparently, the lady called the school to complain, and they replied saying that they can't do anything because the mistress is attending classes and they can interfere with their student's private life. Fair enough. Thus, the papers did an investigation and they realized that every afternoon during lunchbreak, there're a few expensive cars waiting outside. And keep in mind that it's only one institution they investigate on. Absolutely disgusting.

    The problem doesn't lies with the school, I felt, sorry to say, it lies with the people who actually approve of such permits. IF the government is really trying to boost the population, these are not the priorities choices, seriously. Companies are employing these people because they're cheap labour with less committments locally. It just leaves the Singaporean jobless. I believe that there're still people wanting to do the jobs (excludes construction, by logical sense). By wanting to increase the headcount, I think such arrangements will just leave the REAL Singaporean leaving the country to be a 2nd class citizen somewhere.

    Seriously, if one day, the whole of Singapore becomes a big Chinatown, I'd leave if given a chance. BF and I agrees that Taiwan's a good place to migrate to. LOL. Cos, little chance we'll see tiongs over there. Hooray!!

    如果你不知道我说了那么多在说什么,你就是那个tiong. Buzz off.

    Dear Bloggy,

    Yesterday marked a significant day for BF and me. It's his first house visit to my place for dinner! Mom cooked us yummilicious dinner and we swiped everything clean.

    I was pretty nervous and I thought that BF would just get indigestion after dinner. Lol. But I'm relieved that everything turned out fine! Friends who knows me well understands how choosy my mom can be rite? Lol.

    But the main reason that BF came over is to help me hang my pretty pretty netting. Dinner's just the lure. =X Know I hearts my bed even more!

    Isn't that pretty??? =D

    BF got buried alive by my piles of plushies..

    Dear Bloggy,

    Time literally flies. It still seems like yesterday when we're having fun in Mono, celebrating Chinese New Year 2008. Now, it seems that we're all busy with work, busy with partners. But it's still good to know that everyone is doing well.

    Work's keeping me busy. Time seems so fast when it comes to work. Kinda routine. Lotsa tests to take, lotsa things to learn but it's somewhat interesting. Somewhat only. At least I know how important assurance after death can be. Ermm, or I should say it's enlightening? Lol.

    Today is me and BF's 3th month. So that marks the end of the honeymoon period? Not quite. I personally think that it's up to individual to pre-long it.

    I just wanna shout-out!!

    HAPPY 3RD MONTH ANNIVERSARY, BABY!

    Dear Bloggy,

    Although I'm a little late but I guess i still ought to do some updating with some pictures taken on together with my loved ones. They marked our journey into year 2009. =)

    Me and BF figured out that we're too old for countdown parties and the clubs are too crowded. So we decided to have dinner at Nihon Mura and caught a movie, "Yes Man". It's simple but yet lovely, cos we stepped into a brand new year hand in hand. =)

    I insisted that we must have our picture taken on new year. =D

    First kiss for 2009

    On New year day itself, I went to high tea with my parents and ah ma at Zhou's Kitchen. It was yummilicious and had a happy family day out! Den headed to Ikea to grab quilt and bedsheets! I think I'm addicted to Ikea. =P

    My very happy mom and dad!

    Me and my beloved ah ma.

    3-generation picture. =P

    That's about it for New Year pictures. Don't ask me about X'mas, okie. Someone's tmr is taking a long time. BF aka Mr Tan, please do something about it!! *bites* =X

    Dear Bloggy,

    Recently I fell in love with this very very sweet song. I know I'm kinda slow but well, it's really really diabetic!

    愛的主旋律

    是你在那個雨季 闖進我生命
    帶著一點任性和迷路的表情
    是你在那個雨季 趕走了孤寂
    溫暖的手融化還我僅有的堅定

    天上億萬顆星星 我卻只看見妳
    要說這是幸運 還是不可思議
    身邊有太多風景 我卻停在這裡
    說我傻的可以 還不是因為你

    是妳的聲音 帶給我勇氣
    戀愛的頻率 直達我心底
    如果妳願意 是的我願意
    來做我幸福的主旋律

    從前都是謎 現在我相信
    天空會放晴 愛會更甜蜜
    如果妳願意 是的我願意
    愛的主旋律 永遠唱下去

    ** Those in red are for my baby. =D **

    Dear Bloggy,

    Welcome to 2009. Hella year man. But thanks god I found a job (might develop into a career) on the last day of 2008. I wasn't attracted to the job scope definitely. But the payoff is good. So, I went ahead with the interview. Interviewer's nice and everything went smoothly. Got a call from the HR department and my work commence yesterday! That's pretty fast and *poooof* "Welcome to Hell" as what BF always say.

    A lot of people might be skeptical about this industry. But one can't deny the importance of the product. It's insurance. Now, I'm with Prudential serving Standard Chartered customer. But not doing those damn irritating cold-calls nor on the streets trying to hardsell the products. Those are mostly agents from agency whereby top agents set up their own agency and "franchisee" Prudential's product. There's no basic pay to that, something I wouldn't want to do definitely. I've committments, you see. At least, for my current position, I'm directly employed under Prudential UK, whereby there's basic and high allowance! Dad says it's equivalent to what a personnel with at least 2-3 years of experience is getting. I should count myself lucky. I couldn't agree more. And in the letter of appointment states that I'm in the executive grade now! In a big MNC! It excites me most! Yay!

    Basically, appointments are already fixed for me, what I would be doing is to go out, fulfill appointments, meet clients and TRY to close deals. And the clients are selected from the Standard Chartered database. Sounds good to me. At least the most difficult part of prospecting the clients is omitted. *phew* Although I'll always be on the move, but good thing is that I can leave home to the appointment and leave early if there are no more appointments for the day. But of course, time sacrifices have to be made if appointments are at nights.

    1st day of training's like my usual lecture days. It's on M5, rules and regulations for financial services. Lotsa theories, and how on earth are we going to drill those information in? But well, by HOOK or by CROOK, die die have to get over and done with with those papers. But at least there's something to be happy about. They call us the "high-flyers" as our papers are being sponsored and we're paid well to do the same thing. Life's great!!

    BF said I'm already having "zi ye bing" when I got so excited about helping him to plan his retirement after I'm qualified to do that! Lol.

    Am heading to Ikea tomorrow! And it never fails to excite me. I just love Ikea shopping! Well, it's more of helping BF to refurnish his room. Gonna hit the sack now! Will update with my new year resolution during the next post. Stay tune~ =D

    Crystal
