    Dear Bloggy,

    Hereby, I wanna apologise to Mr. J for ruining his birthday today, however, my point of view still stands strong. I messaged him to send my wishes to him and he called me back to thrash things out. I haven't argued with a friend for a long time. It's with regards to our different perspectives towards a relationship.

    His perspective is why bother to know each other well or go out enough before going into a relationship? Knowing each other will still end up fruitless if there;s no feelings involved. He insisted that if every couple knew their partner well, there wouldn't be so many break-ups and divorces around.

    Yes, maybe I would think that way too if I were younger and never been hurt. To me, love is never a gamble. If I haven't know that person well enough and jump into a relationship with him, I'm only risking with my commitment and feelings towards him as a token, only praying that he'll turn out to be the right one, no? Knowing someone before committing gives the sense of security, as trust bonds the pair tighter. If he turns out to be a player, it would only mean that he has been showing me the fake side of him and I would never blame myself for my stupidity cos it's never my fault to start with. After so many setbacks in relationship, I would never have faith in my intuition again.

    Mr. J: We may have a lot in common and we can talk about everything under the sun. I'm glad we can hold a decent conversation and discuss about our individual upcoming plans for the future. I felt comfortable and I sensed that you're an intellectual person but, most unfortunately, we hold onto different stands when it comes to relationship. Perhaps you'll understand my stand when you get know to about those miserable history painted with sorrowful tears. Lastly, happy 23rd birthday.
